Simulating Scheme Actions
Overview of the simulate functions available in the Lorum sandbox for testing payment flows end-to-end.
The Lorum sandbox allows you to simulate payment scheme actions that would normally be completed by the payment scheme in production. This lets you test your full integration end-to-end - including inbound payments, payment execution, and payment failures - without waiting for real scheme processing.
All simulate functions are only available in sandbox.
Available Simulations
| Action | Description |
|---|---|
| Simulate inbound payment | Simulate a payment settling into an account |
| Simulate execute outbound payment | Simulate a submitted outbound payment being executed by the scheme |
| Simulate fail outbound payment | Simulate a submitted outbound payment failing |
| Simulate return payment | Simulate an executed outbound payment being returned by the beneficiary's bank |
